Life as a JAD's student.

Assalamualaikum.

Okay today I'm gonna post about my life as a JAD's student. Okay first of all JAD stands for Japanese Associate Degree programme which is a programme under Yayasan Pelajaran Mara. Students who are successfully being offered this programme will be given full scholarship and they will study for diploma 3 years at Mara-Japan Industrial Institute (yaa I know it is infamous place) situated in Beranang , Selangor and then 2 years in Japan. So Alhamdulillah I got the offer and I'm going to pursue my study in mechanical engineering. Okay back to my life at MJII, well it's more likely to hostel life. But the accommodation is better than school hostel. The room is big and just 4 students stay in it! There are also rooms for 2 students. What can I say is JAD practises Islamic life, it's very good. So as usual, first week is orientation week, we got to know more closer with sensei(teachers), senpai(seniors). There were many interesting activities which organised by JAD and senpai such as Running Kouhai(it's likely Running Man) , and also event with students of UniKL IPROM.  Every night we performed solat Jemaah at MJII Mosque, listened to ceramah by ustaz and recited surah Al-Mulk together. The relationship between senpai and kouhai(juniors) and also among batchmates are very close and I'm sure I can't find this situation at other campus. It's not too much if I say my relationship with batchmates at MJII is even stronger compared to my batchmates in school!
About study, hm it's quite hectic and fatigue studying there. we have class from 8.20 am till 5pm every Monday to Thursday and for Friday the class only until afternoon except if we have supplementary class. We have class W,X,Y and Z for science subjects and for Nihongo class or Japanese class, we're being distributed to different class. For Japanese class, we learn Japanese with sensei from Japan! MyGod they are too cute serious talk. However, I just stayed at MJII for 11 days since I got the offer from PETRONAS to Australia in Chemical Engineering. As you know, I was aiming for PETRONAS scholarship since I was in secondary school so when I get this opportunity, ofcourse I don't want to miss it. But serious talk, life as a JAD student also better. 11 days of staying there had taught me a lot, about friendship and we can become closer to Islam. Thankyou JAD,YPM,sensei, senpai, bacthmates 14/19 for such a wonderful moment that I will never forget insyaAllah. Till here my story about JAD, wait for the next post about being a Petronas' scholar okay. Much love, gracias.
